第１条 裁判所 ― Article 1 The Court

　この規程により国際刑事裁判所（以下「裁判所」という。）　を設立する。裁判所は、常設機関とし、この規程に定める国際的な関心事である最も重大な犯罪を行った者に対して管轄権を行使する権限を有し、及び国家の刑事裁判権を補完する。裁判所の管轄権及び任務については、この規程によって規律する。

An International Criminal Court ("the Court") is hereby established. It shall be a permanent institution and shall have the power to exercise its jurisdiction over persons for the most serious crimes of international concern, as referred to in this Statute, and shall be complementary to national criminal jurisdictions. The jurisdiction and functioning of the Court shall be governed by the provisions of this Statute.

　国際刑事裁判所（以下、本裁判所という。）を次の通り設立する。本裁判所は、常設機関であって、本規程にいう国際的な関心の対象となる最も重大な犯罪に関して人について裁判を行なう権限を有し、国内刑事裁判権を補完するものとする。本裁判所の管轄権および役割は、本規程の条項によって定める。
